DANE LAW Has Filed a Class Action Against Precision Heating & Air, Inc. in Dallas, Georgia. 

The lawsuit alleges that Precision failed to pay its cooling, heating, or plumbing service or installation technicians ("Technicians") all wages they are owed. 

What is the Lawsuit about?

Precision uniformly stole wages from its employees by NOT PAYING TECHNICIANS FOR:

• A piece rate equal to a percentage of the total cost of each installation;

• The correct overtime premium rate;  

• Time spent driving between jobsites;

• Time spent driving back to the warehouse after completing work at the last jobsite;

• Time spent during training or other unpaid work; and/or

• Unexpected, additional work completed at a jobsite.

Status of Lawsuit

The current lawsuit was filed by Marvin Picon on behalf of himself and all Precision Technicians in the Federal Court in Atlanta.

The federal court recently ordered that notice be sent to Precision employees to (1) inform them of this lawsuit, (2) explain how the lawsuit may affect your rights, and 3) provide information on how to participate in this lawsuit.

What Should Technicians Do Now?

Technicians should understand their rights and decide whether to join this lawsuit or pursue claims against Precision on their own.

The proposed class of employees on whose behalf this lawsuit was filed includes:

All employees of Precision who worked as cooling, heating or plumbing technicians at any time within the last three years. 

Technicians should talk with a lawyer regarding their potential claims against Precision.
