MOOVE CLASS ACTION

REPRESENTING MOOVE EMPLOYEES

DANE LAW Has Filed a Class Action Against Moove Cars Mobility USA in East Point, GA.  The lawsuit alleges that Moove failed to pay its rideshare Drivers all wages they are owed.

What is the Lawsuit about?

Moove uniformly stole wages from its employees by NOT PAYING DRIVERS FOR:

  • Time spent waiting for an available electric vehicle ("EV") at the beginning of a shift;

  • Time spent waiting on EVs to charge during a shift;

  • Time worked while the rideshare app was turned off including driving back to the facility at the end of every shift;

  • All tips paid by Riders to you through the rideshare app; and

  • Promised benefits when Moove cut hours when there were not enough EVs.

Status of Lawsuit

The current lawsuit was filed by Veleka Wilikins aka "Ms. V" on behalf of herself and all Moove Drivers in the Federal Court in Atlanta.

The federal court recently ordered that notice be sent to Moove employees to (1) inform them of this lawsuit and (2) that the agreement Moove sent around the time the Atlanta facility was closed could result you waiving claims you have against Moove including participating in this lawsuit.

What Should Drivers Do Now?

Drivers should understand their rights and decide whether to join this lawsuit or pursue claims against Moove on their own.

The proposed class of employees on whose behalf this lawsuit was filed includes:

All persons who worked for Defendant as Drivers of Defendant's fleet of vehicles at any time within three years prior to the filing of the lawsuit.

Drivers should talk with a lawyer regarding their potential claims against Moove and what rights may be given up if a Driver signs the agreement Moove sent.

For Drivers who already signed the agreement, an attorney can discuss whether you may still be able to pursue claims against Moove.

Drivers who wish to join the lawsuit or would like more information about the pending case may contact DANE LAW, and we will be happy to discuss your individual case.
